Saturday wake-up arrived quicker than anticipated but we were ready to test our memory....just how many names could we remember from last night?
The Marriott Courtyard in Westlake was where most of the out of town classmates stayed. We met early for breakfast before heading off for the day. Some went to visit old friends and neighbors, and others rolled over for forty more winks.
Dwight & Robin Allen, Andy & Hanna Cummins, THE ARNOLTS, Jim Templeman, Larry Jordan ......Jean Sheppard, Mary Hinzman, Heather Hall & Barb Nichols laugh over old times.....Gayle Gosewich, Jean Sheppard, Gail Kranz and Mary Hinzman ......Barb Seaman, Sallie Schwank, Lynn Manning & Linda Gobeille.....Mary Hinzman, Christie Carrier, Jean Sheppard & Phil Rowell
A large group opted for Lolly the Trolley, which took us on the grand tour of Cleveland. The bus was filled to capacity. We drove down the streets of the West side, all over downtown, and then all the way out past the art museum on the East side.
Fasten your seat belts...we're off on a tour of Cleveland....our tour guide was loaded with trivia but we had him beat on West side facts.
At lunchtime we stopped for a lovely box lunch arranged by Carol Hill, thank you, at the library right in downtown Cleveland.
On the return we came back along the Erie shoreline and saw the Rock N' Roll Hall of fame, and the new stadium. Think we all learned a lot more about Cleveland and all it has to offer.
The day was filled with great sights and a lot of catching up with classmates.
