We're fine and
enjoying the SUN in FL. Our family is growing. Our
youngest daughter, Carolyn and her husband, Ryan have two
adorable boys (Liam 5 and Colin 3) and live in Saint Davids
PA. She is expecting a GIRL in March!!! We're all
thrilled for them. Our oldest daughter, Cathy, got
married in October 2006, and she and her husband John are
expecting in July. Our best Christmas present!!!
John has a son, Nicolas, who is 10. They are very
excited and we are too. We play golf, exercise, and
generally feel very thankful for our blessings. Happy
and healthy New Year to all!! June 2008
Hanna
and Andy are well in Naples. Their family is growing
too, as their two daughters are both having babies this year.
Evelyn Harkins was born 3/4/08 to Carolyn and Ryan, who now
reside in Saint Davids, PA with Evelyn and their two sons,
Liam and Colin. Cathy and her husband, John Bucco, are
expecting their first in July. They live in Richmond, VA
with John's son, Nick. So, lots of good news for Andy
& Hanna this year.

painting walls when we chatted. The kids are in Northern

have a new
grandson Connor James Cody, born on October 29, 2007 at 12:47 am.
He weighed in at 8 lbs, 8
1/2 oz. They are so thrilled the kids live within 5 minutes from
their house. Jennifer
and Rob live in
Apopka
,
FL and granddaughter
Ashlyn is now 19 months. They go to visit there every 4-6
weeks. They love retirement because it gives them the opportunity
to spoil the kids. Jim and Diane both do temp work, when they feel
like it, keeping the coffers for spoiling as full as necessary. It
also keeps them from getting bored.

| UPDATE 11/08 Diane’s
son, Jason and Eliza are expecting their second child in April. They
live right around the corner so they get to see them regularly.
Diane & Jim also fly to Florida every couple of months to
visit their granddaughter Ashlyn (2 1/2 yr). Three grandkids are
fabulous! This summer Diane hosted a
DeGarmo family reunion in Greenville SC. They saw
family members that they had not seen in years and years. Jack
Melody, from our class, attended also as he is a second
cousin. The big surprise was that now they are the “older
generation’. It was great to discover how everyone is
related and how much everyone enjoys each other's company.
Diane & Jim are very involved in their church and volunteer
work. They also do occasional temp work to provide for the
traveling extras, spoiling the kids and grandkids, and to
keep their sanity. Love it. Life is GREAT!
